John George Shirley christened Jan 6 1822 Chippenham Cambridgeshire. Family of St. Marylebone Parish, London. He married Ellen Shiletto November 12, 1846 at Barrow, Suffolk Co. England. Lived New South Wales. 3. Arthur Shirley was born August 31, 1886 in Hobart, Tasmania, died in 1967 in Sydney Australia. In June 1914, Shirley sailed on the NIAGARA for America and Hollywood. A dramatic photograph of Shirley as John Vassar was used as a patriotic poster in America during the Great War.	4. Richard Shirley was born 1817 in Ireland. Died at Hobart Tasmania. Daughter married a Henry Patrick Shirley (presumably a relative) was born at Kilkenny Ireland.
