"The house John and Elizabeth Bunting lived in at the time
of their death is still in excellent repair. It faces the Quainton
Commons, has a lovely white fence in front of it, just as it
did when John and Elizabeth lived in it. John willed this house
to his only surviving daughter Selina Bunting-who married John
Shirley. They lived in the house and ran the Quainton post office
until Mr. Shirley died."

Holy Cross, Quainton, Bucks., England. The marriage was witnessed
by Henry Lane, Mary Ann Shirley, and Sarah Lane. She was born
29 January 1804 in Quainton, Bucks., England She is named as
the relict in the 1877 will of her husband.
