Deposition of Peter Barnester - gunner of the ship Virgnia Merchant belonging to Mr Simon Overzee - "Bringeth tydings that the said shipp being cast away in the River of Piscataway in New England, the gunnes where of were landed on the said shoare which gunnes were deminshed by one Captain Samson Lane, he taking fower (fewer) of them with him to Barbadoes and futher saith not".
