Georgia, but when the new county was formed, they found themselves in Hart County. They are buried in Shoal Creek Cemetery in Hart Co. GA. Benjamin was a farmer. Shirleys of Hart Co GA

married 1st Mary Foster Mattison Aug 1, 1839. She was born Mar 7, 1822 Honea Path, SC and died May 14, 1848. She was the Daughter of Wm. Mattison b. 1781 Culpeper Co. VA and Eliza Wyatt born 1796 Fairfax Co. VA and died in Anderson Co. SC.

married 2nd Eliz. Carolyn Armstrong in 1849. She died in 1908 Lavonia GA. She was the daughter of Archibald and Mary Ann (Branyon) Armstrong. (She m. 2nd Robert Ira Watson).
