will made Nov 6, 1810 and proved May 14, 1814. This is the last
Will and Testament of me James Shirley of Marsh Gibbon in the
County of Bucks Labourer; First I Give and devise unto my son
Joseph Shirley his Heirs and Assigns All that my cottage (now
in Two Tennements) situate and being in Marh Gibbon aforesaid
One of which Tenements is in my own occupation and the Other
is in the Tenure or Occupation of John Roberts with all And every
the Gardens Orchard Rights Members and Appurtinances Thereunto
respectively belonging or in any wise appertaining To Have and
to hold the same unto and to the use of my said Son Joseph Shirley
his Heirs and Assigns for all my Term Estate And Interest therein;
Also I give and Bequeath unto my Son Thomas Shirley the Legacy
of one Shilling; Also I give and Bequeath unto my Son James Shirley
the Legacy of one Shilling; Also I give and Bequeath unto my
Son William Shirley the Legacy of one Shilling; Alsoe give and
bequeath unto my said Son Joseph Shirley all my Household Goods
and Furniture Chattels and personal Estate and Effects whatsoever
and wheresoever (Subject to the payment of my debts the said
Legacis and my fieneral and testamentary Charges and Expences

Is this the correct James Shirley
who died in 1814? His children seem very old e.g. Thomas would
have been 66 at time of mention in his father's will. Is Joseph
Shirley (see next lineage) the correct generation for sons mentioned
in the above 1810 will of father James Shirley?
