He and his wife, Evelyn, were married June 22, 1940. They have attended many Shirley Conventions and traveled with me three times to England and  once to Australia and New Zealand when we held a series of meetings in those countries. They have visited me in our home a few times and I was a guest in their home. Because our Shirley Conventions were usually in June near or on their anniversary, we would learn of John's gift he just gave to Evelyn the night before or on the day of, etc. Usually it was a nice piece of jewlery. Everyone would congratulate them and we'd sing Happy Anniversary to them. They loved it. It was great fun. John passed away a few years ago. We really miss him.

The cause of death and a picture of John and Evelyn are on the next page. Go to top of this page and click on the link 'More info for this branch' to go to next page.
